Barbara Jean-Baptiste

Registered Dental Hygienist

Barbara was born in Miami, Florida. Soon after birth, she and her family moved to Port-Au-prince, Haiti.  When she was 16 she came back to the United States, where she completed her High School education in Stamford CT.  When considering what type of career field she might be well suited for, she reflected on the lack of dental services offered in Haiti.  She knew from her personal experience with limited dental care how crucial dental care is in the prevention of oral health issues.  She determined that she would pursue dental hygiene as a profession.

Barbara graduated from New York University in 2013 and has been working as a dental hygienist ever since.  She loves what she does as a hygienist.  She enjoys educating her patients in ways that will allow them to maintain their oral health for a lifetime. Barbara loves her profession, but her most rewarding role is the one she plays as loving wife, and mother to two beautiful children.

One of Barbara’s greatest passions is to travel- both local and abroad!  Most importantly though, she loves seeing the people she cares for with a big smile!

Rebecca Gaita

Rebecca grew up in Connecticut. After getting her B.S. in biology from James Madison University, she came back to CT to continue her education at Fones School of Dental Hygiene.  During her time at Fones, she had the opportunity to be the class president.

She values the opportunity to get to help children and their families build good dental care routines from a young age. All while trying to make it a bit more fun! For Rebecca, it’s quite an experience to get to watch her patients grow into healthy young adults.

Rebecca loves that Dental Care Kids is a positive and safe environment, allowing her to provide the best patient care possible!

In her spare time, Rebecca likes to be outside hiking and running, she also enjoys a good book as often as she has time.
